Emily is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Consultant in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence care, with over nine years of experience. Born and raised in the Mallee region, she understands the challenges of accessing specialist care in rural areas. That’s why she founded Sunflower Nursing—to provide expert wound care and stomal therapy through mobile and telehealth consultations.
Emily built her career in regional Victoria’s public health system, working across Colorectal, Vascular, Breast, ENT, and General Surgery on a High Acuity Surgical Ward. She later became a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Surgical Nursing, providing guidance to staff and students.
Her expertise extends beyond hospital settings—Emily has worked in Hospital In The Home (HITH) and as a Staff Development Nurse, earning a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to help upskill healthcare professionals.
